Our 6 Month Old

So here we are January 30, 2009 and we have a baby girl that is offically 6 months old. She has gotten so big and she does so much now! She loves to be "jiggled" and gets a huge smile. She is eating baby food and has grown.

Morgan got her first Valentine's Day gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Davis. It's a food grinder for us to make our own baby food, socks and a bib which you can see on her!

Here Morgan is just hanging out with Daddy, she loves the keys she is playing with.

Morgan in her first "snow storm" It actually laid on the ground for a while but melted just as quick.

When we go for walks she usually wears her "polar bear" suit.

She actually seems to enjoy tummy time now! She is pushing up like a champ!

This shirt was given to her from Aunt Sarah when she was born and she is just now fitting into it!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE 6 MONTHS WILL MAKE!!

(Long and lean)

Our neighbors gave her this robe and she looks so cute in it after her bathes.

Here she is eating her favorite Butternut Squash with her Daddy.

So life has changed in the last 6 months and we couldn't be prouder parents. Whenever we go out people always seem to say how alert she is or when they find out how old she is they say how small she still is. Everyone says a baby will change your life and it really has. We wouldn't change a thing. There have been many tough nights but every smile she gives us makes all those go away. There is a new song out by Darius Rucker (Hootie from Hootie and the Blowfish) and it is called "It Won't Be Like This For Long" and it explains how it is to have a baby girl and how you need to cherish every moment with them. It is so true!

Christmas and New Year

Dear Family and Friends,

First I must say that I REALLY enjoyed spending time with all of you this holiday season! I did really well traveling about 2000 miles round trip and not driving my parents too crazy. This shirt was before I started my journey. As you can see I am wearing IU socks. Not because I LOVE IU, but because they were red to match my outfit. My mommy told me I can only were IU when it is basketball season. She said that someday I would understand that and that Grandpa Preston would be happy about the socks!

I came home from running errands with Mommy and found that Santa came a few days early to my house and left me this awesome exersaucer! It is a circus theme and I already am having a ball in it.

Then we traveled to Ohio where I spent Christmas Eve with daddy's parents and siblings. Here I am all ready for Christmas Eve service which I totally missed because I fell asleep. I woke up on the way home and asked when was church going to start, but then fell back asleep and slept a long time!

here is a nice picture of my family!

Grandpa Davis and I hanging out Christmas morning.

We then left Toledo Christmas morning and went to Fort Wayne and went to see a bunch of my mommy's side of the family. Here is the first 4 generation picture on the Preston side.

Great-Grandpa and I got a long perfectly. I liked to show him the fist I can make.

Then back to Great-Grammie's house for Christmas. I got to see Uncle Ryan and Aunt Ashley.

While opening the massive amounts of gifts Great Aunt Rosie decorated me like a present.

Then we went back to Toledo for the night and got up the next morning and drove to Pennsylvania just outside of Philadelphia. We were so excited to see Aunt Sarah, Uncle Steve, Madeline and Grant.

I got to play in this jumperoo and loved it! Then Grant tried it and he was jumping like a mad man.

We had a great time opening presents from Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts and Uncles. It was great!

This was a fun time. Grandpa Preston was feeding me and Grandma Preston was feeding Grant while our moms and dads played Nintendo Wii.

Then Mommy and Grandma played the dancing game!

Grant and I got to play with my new farm the next morning.

I turned 5 months in Pennsylvania!

New Years Day I ate my first veggie!
I LOVE SWEET POTATOES!!!
I wanted to do it myself.

I was New Year's Baby with my cloth diaper my mom put on. It was not on perfectly so it's a good thing I didn't have to go!
Some new clothes to model courtesy of my cousin Madeline!

This one is supposed to be real tight, but it fits perfectly.
Well that's it for now. Back to everyday life. I sure loved visiting with so many people this holiday season and I love and miss you all!!
Love,
Morgan
